MyRutgersFuture (MRF) Student Portal

The MyRutgersFuture Portal serves as a point of central account creation/maintenance and communication for prospective students from initial Rutgers interest through enrollment, bringing together various personalized Rutgers content.

Self-Reported Academic Record

The Self-Reported Academic Record has completely revolutionized and transformed the admissions processing of the university. Allow students to log in and electronically report their coursework and grades (and optionally their test scores), the SRAR has streamlined decision making and introduced a whole new world of statistical analysis capabilities.

Pre-College Program Directory

The Pre-College Program Directory is a listing of pre-college and other programs (K-16) available at the university. Unlike other directory listings, students can indicate interest in a particular program which then gets tracked in their student record (prospect record). Pre-College selections as well as recommendations are available within the MRF portal. Program coordinators (both university staff and external entities) can enter information about their programs which will then be reviewed for accuracy and approved prior to listing on the site.

Prospective
MyRutgersFuture (MRF) Student Portal

The MRF portal is designed to be the central entry-point for high school students from the point they are first interested in Rutgers until the point that they start classes. The portal brings together a wide variety of content based on the student’s personal interests and selections as well as allows students to edit and maintain their information in the UUA prospect system.

Information Request Forms

These are a set of forms that exist that allow students to create (or append) a prospect record. Used to track or indicate higher levels of interest in the university, the info request forms are instrumental in obtaining relevant and accurate contact information for prospective students.

Create Your Own Info Packet

This application allows students to create a personalized brochure based on information and interests that they select using a wizard-driven interface. Created info packets are delivered via PDF and are ready for printing.

Campus Visits

The Campus Visits system allows students and parents to view upcoming campus visits hosted by the various admissions offices around the university. Students/parents can register for visits online and update their reservations accordingly.

Rutgers on the Road

The Rutgers on the Road system allows students/parents to view upcoming events located in their geographic regions. The system allows viewing/browsing through a Google Maps interface as well as standard lookups. Information is stored for local, out-of-state, and international events.

Semester Rollover

This application allows students to defer their application between the fall and spring semesters.

This system allows the creation and display of a registration form to students for a wide variety of events. The registration form can be customized with school logos, messages, and confirmations. Certain fields can be shown/not shown depending on the type of registration required. The form also allows easy tracking of attendees through barcode scanning and other technologies.

Re-Enrollment Application

This application allows students who have previously attended Rutgers to re-apply for admission to the same or a different school. Like the School-to-School application, this application contains intelligence in the form of what schools are accepting applications as well as available major selections.

Rutgers Business School China-Direct Application

The RBS China-Direct program allows students who complete an entrance exam in China and pay their entrance fee to receive a coupon code that will waive the application fee of the online application for admission.

Counselors Information Center

An application that allows high school counselors to enter, and update their personal and school information as well as to view and download a list of their students’ application status.

Faculty/Staff
Graduate Program Portal

The Graduate Portal allows graduate schools access to a multitude of information regarding their respective programs and student lists. It is used throughout the university.

Service Request System

The SRS application is a ticketing system that allows faculty/staff of the university to create requests. Requests are categorized into high-level types based on functional areas (i.e. new web page, data request, statistical reports) Requests are then reviewed and assigned to member of the appropriate team based on the type of request. History, details, comments, priorities, and file uploads are tracked electronically through the system.

Student Information Services

This SIS application provides electronic information about students who have applied to the university.

Phonathon

The Phonathon application providing listings of students who are still pending required documents or actions in order to complete their enrollment process. Based on a queuing system, student information is presented to admissions staff who then contacts the students by phone and indicates the outcome of the phone call through the system.

RU Transfer

RU Transfer is a university-wide system created to perform transfer credit evaluations for students who are transferring to the university as well as first year students who may have college credits. Completed evaluations for students who decide to enroll are automatically uploaded to the main student records database (SRDB).

On-Line Diploma

The diploma application allows students to verify and confirm their name spelling and other pertinent information that will appear on their university diploma.

School-to-School Decision Screen

The School-to-School Decision screen allows deans and faculty to review applications for students who have applied for intra-university transfer to their respective schools. Upon review of the application information, the deans can make decisions which are then transmitted to the university registrar for updating in the SRDB.

Re-Enrollment Decision Screen

The Re-Enrollment Decision screen allows deans and faculty to review Re-Enrollment applications for their respective schools. Upon review of the application information, the deans can make decisions which are then transmitted to the university registrar for updating in the SRDB.

Advanced Placement

The AP application allows faculty members and deans to review AP scores sent electronically by students. Received AP scores can be evaluated, approved, and signed off on. AP credits awarded via sign-off are sent electronically to the SRDB.

Application Services

Application Services is a system which allows admissions counselors and application reviewers to view all details about a student’s application for admission. This application supports multiple admissions cycles and can be used to quickly locate information about a particular applicant. In addition, comments about students can be entered and tracked through this system.

Counselors' Information Center

The Counselors’ Info Center app displays the CEEB and PIN information necessary for high schools to access the UUA Counselors’ Information Center website.

Notification Letters

This application houses a document library of several commonly used letters and mailers accessed during the admissions cycle. Documents include Enrolling Acknowledgements, Conditions of Enrollment, Denial Letters, RUID letters, and others. It is commonly used by UUA staff members.

EIS/PR

The EIS/PR application is a system used to aid in the reconciliation of prospects to applicant records. Data is available for multiple cycles and is broken down by a number of criteria including search, respondees, EPS markets, CS codes, and more.

SAP/Business Objects Reports

SAP/Business Objects is an easy to use web-based tool allowing staff to create ad hoc reports and perform data analysis. It is also used to produce and distribute many year-to-date automated KPI reports.

Application Reading and Review Database

AppRead is a system that provides pre-defined and custom queues of students who have applied and is used to make decisions on applications. Admissions counselors and application reviewers will work through the blind queues reviewing applicants. Information displayed by AppRead includes application summary, calculated indexes, and links to the SRAR, AppServices, and ImageNow records.

Admissions Action Inquiry Tracking System

The Action form is an application used to track phone calls and walk-in visitors to the admissions office. Incoming calls/visitors are logged into the system which then allows assignment, review, and follow-up capabilities.

Admissions Action Entry Form

The CIS form allows Campus Information Services to log phone call inquiries. Calls logged by CIS are shown in the Admissions Action Inquiry Tracking System.
