Terms and Conditions Privacy Policy Children 13 years of age or younger Rutgers University cares about the safety and privacy of children on the internet. Therefore, we strive to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Personal information on anyone under the age of 13 is only collected with the permission of their parents or legal guardians. That personal information is only released to the Rutgers Office of Enrollment Management and Pre-College Programs for which users "Request Info" on precollege.rutgers.edu and with the possible exception of a valid warrant or subpoena. With the exception of certain key items (name, email address) all other information is optional. Certain pre-college programs may require several sections of the profile to be completed as a condition for participation in that particular program. How We Use Information Collected Information entered as part of your MyRutgersFuture profile is made accessible to pre-college programs in which you have explicitly expressed interest in and/or have chosen to apply to. Each program may use your information differently in accordance with their own defined terms and conditions. In order to keep you informed of activities such as campus programs, symposia and/or special events, the Rutgers University Office of Enrollment Management may use personal information collected in your profile for the purpose of future communications with you,. You have the right to opt-out of any and all communications sent from the Office of Enrollment Management. The Office of Enrollment Management may use browser-IP-address information and anonymous-browser history to report information about site accesses and for profiling purposes. This information is generally used to improve web presentation and utilization. The Office of Enrollment Management also may use IP address information for troubleshooting purposes. Furthermore, The Rutgers University Office of Enrollment Management will not disclose, without your consent, personal information collected about you, except for certain explicit circumstances in which disclosure is required by law.
