Rutgers Rec Kids Summer Camps offer children a
supervised, positive environment where they can learn and grow through a
variety of activities. Camp experiences are an integral part of a child's total
education. It offers an opportunity for children to build long lasting
friendships while learning valuable life lessons.
Day Camp Features:
- Three distinct age groups from 5-11 years old
- Sports and games
- Arts and crafts
- Fitness and movement
- Daily swim lessons and free swim
- Special events and trips weekly
- Daily snack
- Exposure to a variety of safe and fun, age
appropriate activities
- Utilizes Rutgers University Recreational facility
and fields
- Offers pre and post camp supervision
- Mature, well trained, creative and energetic staff
Staff
All camp staff are trained in CPR/AED and First Aid for the Professional
Rescuer. All swim lessons are taught by certified American Red Cross instructors. All
lifeguards are certified American Red Cross lifeguards.
